My super late March Update:Sorry I slacked on the March update. We didn't take many pics this month and I've taken more time for myself (which hasn't gone uncontested!).
Josie, as has been the case, changed a bunch even since February. She had her 4 month wellness appointment with the doctor. She's healthy and happy. She weighed in at 12lbs, 4oz - 24.75 inches long. I don't know where that is on the percentiles, but the doc seems to be happy with her growth and progress. I didn't go, but Fatima relayed the doctors visit to me:
She received 3 needles for vaccines :(
The first, there was no reaction from Josie! The second, she made a little unhappy face. The third ... she let out a cry ... mommy picked her up ... she looked right at the nurse who just stuck her and she smiled.
She began rolling over this month. Another one of those milestones to talk about. When she rolls over on her playmat, I let her try to figure things out and enjoy some "belly time" ... though it doesn't seem like she's really enjoying it. When she starts to get too pissed off, it's easy enough to roll her over with your foot ;) She can only roll over to her right and hasn't figured out how to roll back, yet.
We started her on cereal this month, too. The doc said to stick with nursing, but there was no harm in starting the cereal and she's really growing with it. See for yourself with these pics compared to the April pics above (coming soon in the April Update) ...
